SENEGAL'S shock 1-0 win over France sees the 2002 World Cup open up with the Champions falling to a 30th minute goal by Bouba Diop.

14:21: Another corner for France is playe din by Petit but Lebouef's weak shot is picked off by the Sen. keeper.

14:20: A great save from Sylva the Sen. keeper keeps a stinging shot from Henry out. Three mins added time.

14:19: Inside the last minute and France could be on the way to a defeat.

14:17: France are playing wtth four upfront and the Sen. defence is sitting further and further back but they are holding the pace and skill of Henry, Trezeguet, Dugarry and Cisse at bay.

13:48: The Sen. keeper has pulled off two great saves as Fr. begin to get hold of the game, Dugarry is warming up for Fr.

13:46: Henry misses the best chance of the game as the ball is flipped to the back post and he heads wide.

13:45: A cross from Thuram is headed goalward by Trezeguet but it flashes wide of the post.

13:42: The game has gone a bit scrappy with both teams commiting heavy tackles in mid-field.

13:40: A yellow card for Sen.'s Cisse after a foul on Desailly.

13:39: A heavy tackle on Djorkaeff gives Fr. a freekick on the edge of the box but it is again cleared out for a throw.

13:38: Fr. still look a little ruffled at the back with a slashing clearance from Leboeuf flying straight out.

13:36: The second-half opens with a light drizzle in the air and again Sen. are the first to threaten but again Diouf is pulled up offside.
