HASLINGDEN'S first tapas-style bar was launched to the sound of maracas and music.
Manager Nick Hogan and wife Denise entertained locals at The Holden Arms, kick starting their Jubilee celebrations.
The £100,000 refurbishment has taken six weeks to complete and delighted customers.
Nick, 36, said: "The whole weekend has been tremendous. Free food was on and everyone had a chance to sample a few of the treats to come.
"The bar is looking absolutely stunning with terracotta yellows, willow ceilings, statues, and iron work. We have also opened the bottom bar. It's really worth a look for anyone.
"It is all down to a lot of hard work and support from family, friends and the brewery.
"We had a fantastic night and everyone went away screaming for more!"
The restaurant and bar now boasts state-of-the-art sound equipment and will be open for a carvery every weekend.
