I SEE Blackburn Cathedral's hierarchy wants a fence to keep the ungodly out, (LET, May 30) perhaps, so they can preach to the well-off and well-behaved in comfort.
Jesus went out into the multitudes to take the word of God to the sinners and less fortunate.
Instead of fencing themselves in, should the Cathedral hierarchy not follow his example?
