THE subway leading into Penny Street, Blackburn, is a regular target for vandals and has been highlighted by the council for being one of the worst areas in the town for graffiti.
A few months ago the subway was repainted but the stairs are still closed for repair work, but I haven't seen any work done to them yet.
I thought the subway was a quick route to avoid the road traffic. Are the council aware that this job is left undone -- and how much of an inconvenience this is to some people?
