THREE bikini-clad East Lancashire stunners will have the eyes of the world on them when they become grid-girls at the World Superbike Championships at Brands Hatch.

Blackburn beauties Chantelle Grant, 21, Katrina Sudnik, 19, and Sarah Kozlowski, 20, will be cheering on local superbike hero Neil Hodgson after winning a contest to appear on the starting grid tomorrow. They will be representing Ducati team racers just before the start of the contest, holding a banner with racers' names on.

The girls will be watched by millions of television viewers and the 120,000 crowd.

And if they prove popular, one of them could win the chance to tour with the Ducati team for the rest of the season around the world.

Burnley-born British champion Neil Hodgson is currently third in the World Championship and has continued East Lancashire's strong connection with the sport following the success of four-time world champion Carl Foggarty.

The three beauties beat off eight other contestants in a nightclub competition judged by a Coronation Street star to win a place on the grid.

Sarah Kozlowski, of Heys Close, is a part-time model and bar maid and said she has already appeared on a TV advert for a sports company during the World Cup.

She added: "I'm really excited and looking forward to going to Brands Hatch.

"It's a big prize and it means a lot to me."
