A PENSIONER was robbed of her handbag by a thug in the early evening
The incident happened at 8.10pm on Saturday (Sept 21) as the 69-year-old walked along Porrit Street in Bury.
She was approached from behind by the thief who snatched her handbag and ran to a waiting dark-coloured car. The bag contained a small amount of cash, a purse and a bus pass
The thief was 5ft 10ins tall and wore dark clothing and a baseball cap.
