SHOTS showman Jahn Hanson is hoping to shake up the cocktail world with his colourful creations when he makes a bid for the World Cocktail Making Championship.
The TGI Friday barman is in with a chance of stealing the crown in San Francisco next March as well as enjoying a share of £20,000 worth of prizes.
But before he goes "stateside", Jahn, who works at the TGI store in Bury New Road, Prestwich must first prove himself in this country.
The first step towards his goal is the regional final of the TGI Friday's Bar Team Challenge in Cheadle on Monday (Sept 30) when he will be up against nine of the company's leading bartenders.
A natural entertainer Jahn, pictured behind the bar, will have to impress the judges with his high energy show-tending banter and cocktail-mixing flair.
If successful he will become one of five regional champions to compete in they Best Bartender Grand Final in November which is one step closer to San Francisco.
