ASDA Burnley is running a competition to find the town's best lollipop lady or man. Store staff will visit school in town, asking teachers, parents and children for their nominees.
Manager Graham Price said: "They play an integral part of the community and it's about time they were recognised".
The winner will be given a food hamper. Nominations can be handed in at the customer services desk or sent in writing.
