ROSSENDALE UNITED were knocked out of the FA Trophy at the Preliminary Round stage by manager Jim McCluskie's old side Witton Albion last night.
McCluskie reached the Trophy final at Wembley 10 years as a member of the Witton side but he was not repeat that success with Dale as they were beaten 2-0 in the replay after drawing the first game 2-2 on Saturday.
McCluskie will be more disappointed considering his side were 2-0 up with seven minutes to go in the first game before got two late goals to force the replay.
