A MAN has appeared before Bury magistrates accused of attempting to rape a pensioner.
Jason Hargreaves, aged 29, of Ainsworth Road, Bury, is charged with the attempted rape of a 76-year-old woman in Bury following an incident on Monday.
He was remanded in custody until October 15 when he will appear at Bolton Crown Court.
