THE new £4million Marks and Spencer store in Prestwich will open on October 23.
The 10,000 sq ft food store has brought 40 new jobs to the area and will cater for every taste with a state-of-the-art bakery, fresh fruit and vegetables, delicatessen, horticulture and wine shop.
There will also be the launch of a Christmas shop, featuring everything from seasonal foods to cards and crackers.
Commenting on the launch date, store manager Diane Bartolo said: "This will be a very memorable day for Prestwich and we are looking forward to welcoming shoppers to their new Marks and Spencer store. Our £4million investment demonstrates Marks and Spencer's commitment to the region."
