MUMS with young children can involved with the Sure Start Young Mums' Group which has started up again in Darwen.
The group offers mums the chance to meet other mums every week from 10am to noon at the new Sure Start Centre on Lord Street.
A free crche is available to let mums take full advantage of what's on offer. If you have some spare time and want to have some fun doing new things come along to the group. Young mums can also find out about training and learning opportunities within Sure Start.
Sure Start is a government funded initiative for families with children from 0-4 years. Sure Start works to improve well being and life opportunities through better health, childcare and education.
