HAWKSHAW Tennis Club's Nicola Ullathorne reached the semi-finals at this year's Nestle England Tennis Ladder Competition.
A previous Nestle Tennis Ladder champion, Nicola (16) won the 14 and under girls competition in 2000 but narrowly missed out in this year's 16 and under event, losing to Lucy Fowler of Lincolnshire 3-6, 3-6.
Lucy went on to lose the final to Boston Tennis Club team-mate Laura White but lost the match 2-6, 2-6.
The competition was played at the White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre, Oxfordshire.
