HERBIE was brought in to Manchester Dogs' Home after being found wandering in the Chadderton area by the Oldham Dog Warden.
He is a large cross-Alsatian, black and tan, and approximately three years old.
Herbie is a friendly dog who gets on well with people and other dogs.
He has had some basic training as he will sit and stay on command.
Herbie would make an ideal family pet because of his friendly nature and ability to get on with other dogs.
