Clarets striker Dimitri Papadopoulos continued his great early season form with a wonderful goal for the Greece Under-21 side at the weekend.

His first minute strike gave his team the lead against Ukraine in Kiev in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw.

Papadopoulos collected the ball on the right before beating two defenders as he cut into the area and produced an exquisite chip over the advancing keeper.

It was his second goal in successive internationals having scored the only goal against Spain in their previous match and confirmed the belief that his game has moved up a level this season.

Papadopoulos is currently top scorer at Turf Moor with four goals despite mainly being used as a substitute.

He will be back in action with his country tomorrow as the Greece Under-21 team entertains Armenia in Athens.

Meanwhile back in England the Clarets reserves return to action tomorrow night with a trip to Oldham, the first game for four weeks.
