ROSSENDALE UNITED manager Jim McCluskie is set to massively shake up his side in time for the visit of league leaders Alfreton tonight (kick off 7.45pm).

McCluskie could make five or more changes to his side after signing a host of players over the past 24 hours.

Definitely in the side tonight will be Nigerian forward Kelchi Okore, who has been on trial at Conference side Leigh.

Leigh boss Steve Waywell wants Okore, who played in the Swedish Premier League last season, to get some match practice.

Also coming into the side tonight will be left winger John McGill, also on loan from Leigh. He is on loan to Dale on a match-to-match basis.

Midfielder Ged Smith, signed on a free from Hyde, will also make his debut.

Centre half John Alpin, signed from local football in the Liverpool area, will also make his first appearance for the side. "I am also trying to sign someone else before tonight's game so there could be someone else new in the team," said McCluskie, who said his side need a shake up after failing to win in the last nine games.

"It is needed. We have been in a position to win matches in the past few games and we haven't done.

"We need a bit more experience in the side and a bit of a shake up, it's gone a bit flat. Hopefully these players will provide what we need."

Also in the UniBond first division, CHORLEY are at home to Matlock Town (kick off 7.45pm), looking for their first win in four games.

In NWCL Division One tonight, CLITHEROE are at home to Squires Gate (kick off 7.45pm).

The former league leaders are hoping to get their promotion challenge back on track. They have won only once in the last four league games.
