THE BNP have done more for Blackburn than years of complaints have managed and the council has been shocked to the core.
We will now find a listening council, a caring council, a can't-do-enough-for-you council.
Next year's local taxes will be kept to a minimum. Too late for the old folk who were shunted from pillar to post. Too late to stop the Church Street closure. Later still for a rethink on the 'ring road.'
Any fool can see getting from King Street on to Montague Street is impossible because traffic is forced into one lane when there was room for a motorway on the left. The bottom of Audley is another. What idiot thought that one up?
The council can redeem themselves, however, in Bank Top, by reinstating the community association and its officials. I ask them to do this without delay as they did a good job and did no wrong.
Probably, they were victims of the dictatorship that Hitler would have been proud of. The BNP could learn a lot from this crowd.
