A 42-YEAR-OLD woman has been sexually assaulted by a bogus taxi driver after a night out in Prestwich.
She had been to some pubs in the area and got into the car in Bury New Road. As she was driven towards Blackley, the driver carried out the assault, said police.
Detective Constable Dave Turner urged people to only use pre-booked private hire taxis or registered black cabs.
