PRESTON striker Ricardo Fuller will have to wait until next year before having corrective surgery on his injured knee.
The Jamaica international was ruled out for the season last week after damaging his cruciate in the win at Coventry.
An exploratory operation confirmed the damage but Fuller must go under the knife again to fix the problem.
A club spokesman said: "It will be six to eight weeks before he actually has the operation because it needs to settle down first."
