ROVERS midfielder David Dunn could have a chance of being fit to face Everton after scans have revealed he has not damaged his hamstring.

The England international was forced to limp off just 10 minutes into Saturday's game at the Reebok.

But subsequent scans have not shown up a tear and the medical staff now believe the problem may stem from a problem in his back.

"He hasn't torn his hamstring, though he is getting some pain in the hamstring area," said club doctor Phil Batty.

"We have scanned it by a couple of methods, both scans just show a minor degree of fluid and we anticipate that with some rehabilitation he will be back in a short period of time."
