THE Friends of Sunnyhurst Wood have held another meeting on the beauty spot's repair schedule.
A sub-committee discussed the best way forward for the council to start work on the drains and paths of the woods, damaged by storms in June.
Dennis Gillibrand of the committee, said: "We haven't made any concrete decisions but hope to look into the issues again.
"There are problems with the infrastructure of the woods which need work."
Any decisions made on the schedule will be put to the council.
Ashleigh Singers will perform alongside Blackburn with Darwen Second Band to raise money for the Sunnyhurst Wood Flood Fund.
The singers will grace the woods bandstand on December 22 at 3pm.
Audience participation will be welcomed.
