HEALTH and Safety investigators have begun a probe into an accident at a packaging firm.
A man, who is believed to have been in his 20s but who has not been named by police, was taken to hospital with leg and head injuries after a forklift truck overturned at Collective Packing in Dyneley Road, Blackburn, on Monday.
He suffered head and leg injuries but his condition is not thought to be life threatening.
A Health and Safety Executive spokesman today confirmed that they were investigating the fork lift truck accident at Collective Packing. She would not comment further.
Collective Packing employs around 60 full-time workers.
A spokesman said: "Our main concern is that he gets himself right. We are really concerned about his well-being.
"We don't know how well he is or what the indications are at the moment. Our main priority is that he is going to be all right."
The company works various shifts packing products including DVDs and CDs. It has been at the site for two years.
