A ROAD safety information pack is now available in Rossendale.
The pack, produced by the Lancashire Partnership for Road Safety, will help Rossendale community groups and voluntary organisations to improve road safety.
They highlight the dangers involved in speeding, drink-driving and not wearing seat belts.
According to the Lancashire Partnership for Road Safety, these three factors are the three main causes of death on roads in the borough.
They not only contain useful safety information, but also details of how organisations can apply for funding under the Partnership's Road Safety Action scheme.
The packs can be obtained by registering with the scheme. For further details contact the Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale Council for Voluntary Services on 01282 433740.
