TWO teenagers came flying out of the old Sems in Railway Road just in front of me. As they leapt through the door one caught and badly ripped his jacket on the door handle.
That's the price of being silly I thought.
However, I was touched by the obvious friendship between them.
The victim took off his torn jacket and presented it to his mate who immediately replaced it with a warm top he was wearing under his coat.
He put the damaged jacket on under his own and off they went as good as new.
What a generous and thoughtful move. I was impressed, but that's what friends are for.
