FORGET Santa and his sleigh, taxi drivers from Bury firm Harvey's took over from Father Christmas on Monday (Dec 23) when they delivered presents to poorly youngsters at Fairfield General Hospital.
The drivers and other staff donated more than £400 and used the money to buy presents for the children's ward. These included selection boxes, toys and games.
Proprietor Ray Porter said: "It's the first year we've done something like this, but we're going to make it an annual event."
