BUSINESS is blooming at the Going Dutch florists in Burnley and Nelson after the company recently gained Investors in People recognition.
Owner Janet Boast also put the florists on the map earlier this year when she finished runner-up in the Interflora Florist of the Year competition and was asked to produce the bouquet which was presented to the Queen at the Commonwealth Games.
The business has been trading for 11 years and has shops in Broadway, Nelson and Keirby Walk, Burnley.
It employs eight people and embarked on Investors in People because of a personal commitment by owners Peter and Janet Boast to continuous development.
Peter said: "This demonstrated to our staff that we were committed to their professional development."
