COMMUNITY groups in Hyndburn can get a share of £30,000 funding.
The cash is available to help community and voluntary organisations improve their neighbourhood and encourage more involvement in local activities.
It also aims to help black or minority ethnic and other communities explore their history, cultures, and traditions and promote racial harmony through understanding of cultural diversity.
The next round of funding of the Hyndburn Neighbourhood Renewal Community Chest will be in January.
It will be administered by the Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) and offer up to £5,000 for projects, but groups applying for smaller grants are likely to be more successful.
A series of workshops will be held on January 14 and 15 to help groups fill in their applications.
For more information or to book a place on the workshops call CVS on 01254 8798966.
