AFTER seeing two recent letters expressing support for the BNP, it needs to be made clear that the racist policies of this vile organisation offer no solution at all to the poor conditions suffered by many people in this country, black or white.

Despite the pretence of respectability, the BNP is a fascist party whose leadership comprises an unholy alliance of well-heeled individuals and violent criminals. Their aim is the persecution of anyone who either disagrees with, or fails to match up to, their idea of a "Master Race".

Those who fought against the Nazis in the Second World War must find the BNP's attempt to canvass their support particularly offensive, since the founder of the BNP, John Tyndall, often boasted of his support for Nazi policies and his admiration for Adolf Hitler.

Although it is Bush's so-called "War on Terror" and Blair's "Tory" policies which have let this polecat out of the bag, it will nevertheless once again come down to working people themselves having to unite against, and smash, the Nazi BNP.
