DETAILS of this year's Northcote Manor Festival of Food and Drink have been announced.

A whole host of culinary talent from across the world has been lined up to cook at the festival, in Langho, between January 27 and February 2.

It is the third year the renowned hotel and restaurant in Langho has hosted the week-long event and this season chef's tempted to the kitchens include Christian Ollson from Stockholm, Nigel Wigglesworth, from Vermont and John Torode, from the award-winning Smiths of Smithfield.

Co-owner and renowned chef at Northcote Manor Nigel Haworth, said: "This will be our third festival, which has grown from my original concept into a revered and treasured week of gastronomy.

"This year, I am delighted to welcome, firstly, great friends and secondly, truly gifted chefs.

"This will be the most fantastic combination of culinary talent, bringing you a wide and varied week of incredible contrasts, fun and privilege.

"I look forward to welcoming everyone to Northcote for the festival of food and wine."

The line-up is as follows:

January 27, brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin from Michelin rated restaurants in the south east.

January 28, one of Sweden's finest chefs, Christian Olsson, from Stockholm.

January 29, Philip Howard-Mayfair, co-owner and head chef of The Square in London.

January 30, Heston Blumenthal, from the Fat Duck in Bray, Berkshire, cooks a 10-course taster menu.

January 31, Australian chef John Torode, co-owner of Smiths in Smithfield, London, and former daytime TV chef.

February 1, Neil Wrigglesworth, former Accrington chef now working in Vermont, USA.

February 2, Nigel Haworth with special guest, wine expert Charles Metcalfe.
