BURY player-manager Andy Preece goes into tomorrow's home clash with Kidderminster Harriers with another goal to his tally.
The Shakers scorer in Boxing Day's 4-1 defeat at Shrewsbury had been credited to David Nugent by the news agencies, but the club have now had the record put straight with Preece being credited with the goal in all official statistics.
However, Preece will have been more concerned with his side's heavy reversal than who netted their 87th minute consolation goal.
After a good showing in their 1-1 home draw with Rochdale, they were undone at Gay Meadow by a stunning hat-trick from Ryan Lowe.
Bury will be hoping to make home advantage count against Ian Britton's Harriers, who had to stage a stunning comeback to beat Leyton Orient 3-2 at their Aggborough ground on Boxing Day.
