DARWEN Library Theatre will be holding a wide range of show-stopping spectaculars in 2003.
The movie Story of Darwen (part two), featuring the 1976 Gala, the Piano Smashing competition and the last Mayor's Ball at the baths was a sell out last year in the part one showing and is set to fill the theatre again on January 31.
Followed swiftly by the Mayor's Command Performance on February 1, Coun Tony Humphrys invites Darwen to join in the all-singing all-dancing variety show.
The Darwen Library Players will be performing Michael Frayn's Alarms and Excursions on Friday and Saturday, February 7 and 8 at 7.30pm.
Time travel and communication are intertwined as the impact of technology and modern communication are explored.
