REVELLERS in a Todmorden pub could be forgiven if they think they're facing a scene from the BBC's dark comedy The League of Gentlemen when they walk in on New Year's Eve.
Landlord Alan Troy and staff at the Hollins Inn, Walsden, will dress up as characters from Royston Vasey at the pub's bash tonight.
The fancy dress party will also offer a buffet and a disco.
Alan said they dreamed up the idea because they loved the programme and it was filmed in the town.
Todmorden was brought to a standstill when television crews recorded the scenes for the series in May.
Alan said: "We were going to do The Flintstones, then we had this idea and thought it would work well, especially because the programme was filmed here."
