WHY did Sam Spence (Letters, December 30) go to Accrington when he decided not to do his shopping in Blackburn?
Why didn't he come to Darwen, where there are lots of excellent shops, a good quality market and free parking?
Perhaps he's been reading too many letters from Roy Davies, making Darwen sound like the worst place on earth.
