CRAIG Brown sets about trying to turn around North End's woeful season on Saturday - with no fewer than 13 senior players out!

Five players are out on suspensions after clocking up too many yellow cards. They are captain Chris Lucketti, Graham Alexander, Paul McKenna, Dickson Etuhu and Mark Rankine.

Three of those players - Alexander, McKenna and Rankine - would have missed last Saturday's game against Forest had it not been cancelled.

The injury list for the Ipswich trip also looks worrying, with David Lucase, Rob Edwards, Michael Keane, Richard Cresswell,Mark Wright, Ricardo Fuller and Andrew Lonergan all out.

Of that list, only Cresswell has a chance of playing on Saturday, when Celtic youngster Simon Lynch is expected to make his debut upfront for North End.

Jonathan Gould, also from Celtic, is expected to start inbetween the sticks.

Defender Adam Eaton has been recalled from Mansfield where he had been on loan, with Michael Jackson expected to be hauled back in from Tranmere when his loan period ends at the weekend.

Brown said: "Having the Forest game called off was the last thing we needed because it means the suspensions really add up now."
