A WOMAN found dead in a hotel in Colne was today named as 24-year-old Abigail Gallagher.
Police investagating the discovery at 12.46am on Tuesday said she did not have a fixed address.
They were investigating the possibility that she died as a result of a heroin overdose.
Police and ambulance crews went to the Hendly Hotel, Queen Street, after her death.
A post mortem examination has been carried out but police said the results were inconclusive.
Police are awaiting the results of a toxicology report. One man was arrested and has been bailed pending further inquiries.
