SLIMMING gurus Jackie Rogerson and Karen Ashcroft struck it rich at an end of the year celebration.
The club leaders revelled in the chance to meet Eastenders' latest star, Alfie Moon, played by Shane Richie.
The pair who run classes at St Benedict's in Hindley and the Bethel Centre at Hindley Green, were at the company's annual awards ceremony to celebrate members' achievements where the Queen Vic's new rogue manager was the star guest.
Jackie, who hosts a Wednesday 5pm class, said: "Shane was a really nice guy, so easy to talk to. He seemed genuinely impressed with the work we do."
Karen, who runs the Thursday 5pm class at the Bethel, said she was looking forward to helping people lose weight in the new year and to an organised six week slimathon to raise funds for the NSPCC."
