VOLUNTEERS are helping develop a unique area in Hindley for babies and toddlers.
Children up to the age of four will be able to enjoy themselves and learn, in a clean, safe environment at the 'Play Patch' located at the top of Platt Lane which has been carefully created by the Surestart project.
On Monday and Tuesday volunteers planted willow trees to create animal shapes and tunnels for free fun events.
These events, supervised by experienced play staff, are held Monday-Thursday between 9am and 1pm, and between 9am and 1pm on Fridays.
