BEWARE of counterfeit pound coins! An artist aunt told me about cheap artists' equipment on sale at Netto, so I dashed round to the Leigh store to snatch some while it was still available.
Only when I got back to the office did I discover I'd got more than I bargained for. There was an obvious fake in my change.
Like shops hold notes up to the light I shall check my change on the spot in future. I can't stand being diddled.
