COMMUNITY and voluntary groups in the Ribble Valley are being offered free effectiveness training.
Sessions have been organised by the Hyndburn and Ribble Valley Council for Voluntary Service.
Spokesman Liz Patten said: "Sessions are aimed at smaller community groups run by volunteers, such as playgroups. They will be run by experienced trainers and take place at local venues."
Sessions are: January 22 -- Fundraising for charitable trusts, February 12 -- Being on a committee, 26 -- Writing better fundraising applications, March 14 -- How to recruit volunteers, 18 -- Improve your fundraising skills.
