Weekend walks

Sunday, January 19: Gargrave (10 miles moderate). Meet Bury Interchange car park 9am. Leader: Reg Norris (773 8640).

Thursday, January 23: Annual dinner at Smithills Coaching House. Tickets from Paul Tarry (01204 884080).

BURY HF: Saturday walk (6 to 8 miles): Meet 1pm at Tenters Street car park or 1.30pm at Holcombe Brook.

Sunday walk: Meet on Bank Street at 10am for Bleakholt. Bring lunch and flask.

Tuesday walks: Meet B & Q car park at Crostons Retail Park, Bury Bridge for one of two all day walks. Impromptu at 10am and Rivington at 10.30am. Bring lunch and flask.

Thursday walks (max 8 miles). All day walk. Meet B & Q car park, Crostons Retail Park, Bury Bridge 10am for an impromptu walk. Bring lunch and flask. Meet 10am at B & Q car park. Not as programme.
