BURNLEY butcher Stephen Berkin has added one more award to his collection -- as the Cheeriest Butcher in the North of England.
His tasty regional specialities, like Lancashire dry-cure bacon and Cumberland sausages, were served with a beaming smile from a "lovely man"according to the judges who awarded him the title. He was nominated as part of Farmhouse Breakfast week which runs from January 19.
The champion butcher of Berkins Butchers in Rosegrove, Burnley, has received a string of accolades not least for his sizzling sausages and pies.
