COMPUTER equipment has been stolen during burglaries at two Whitefield business over the weekend.
At 3.30am on Saturday (Jan 11), intruders smashed the front window of Cardwell and Son in Bury New Road to gain entry to the estate agents. They made off with a number of computer screens and disc-drives.
Twenty-four hours later, thieves forced the security shutters of St Tropez Ltd, also in Bury New Road. They smashed the main display window before making off with a quantity of electrical office equipment.
