A COMMUNITY has been saddened by the sudden death of Peter Morgan MBE, who died in hospital on Wednesday, January 8 after collapsing at home the previous Monday.
Mr Morgan was chairman of Knowle Green Village Hall, chief executive of the Lancashire Youth Clubs Association for many years and a loyal supporter of the Physically Handicapped and Able-bodied Association.
His funeral was held at Knowle Green Congregational Church yesterday followed by committal at Preston Crematorium. Donations were to Lancashire PHAB.
A special remembrance service to commemorate Peter's charitable life will be held at a later date.
