RECENTLY, Lady Olga Maitland declared there are some 350,000 Iraqi nationals residing in Great Britain.
These, she stated, are eagerly awaiting the time when Saddam Hussein will be removed from power.
I wonder if anyone knows just how many of these Iraqi nationals are prepared to fight for their own country. I have never heard of any of them volunteering to join our forces in an armed invasion.
Are they just waiting for American and British soldiers to do the work for them. They could then just walk back into their country and reap all the rewards.
And why can a parent in this country not slap the legs of an unruly child when it is deemed all right to go to another country and drop bombs on their children? It doesn't seem to make sense to me, but, there again, I am not a millionaire with interests in the oil industry. So what do I know?
