A WATERFOOT charity is on the move -- just round the corner. MENCAP is moving from its premises of nine years in Burnley Road, to the former Millennium Taxis office in Burnley Road East.
Linda Hardman has co-ordinated the move in a bid to drum-up more passing trade. She said: "My father was the chairman of the charity so it's my ambition to see that it continues successfully."
The charity, which raises money for the mentally handicapped, will be in the building by the end of February. An event to help boost funds for the Mini Bus appeal will be held on February 22 from 12-7pm.
