A GANG of teenagers threatened to beat up a young boy before robbing him.
The five thugs approached the 12-year-old schoolboy as he was walking through Pyramid Park towards Bury town centre on Wednesday (Feb 5) at 4.30pm.
They threatened him with violence before taking his mobile phone, a small amount of a cash and his jacket.
Police say the gang were white males and all approximately14 years of age. One wore a hooded white top and the others used scarfs to mask their faces.
Detectives at Bury CID are investigating the robbery and would like anyone who witnessed it to contact them on 0161 856 8150.
