TUNEFUL trumpeters joined harmonious horn players at Bury Music Centre when they staged annual concert performances.
The talented musicians put in some final practise time at the weekend before performing for audiences.
For some members of the Junior and Interim groups, who are aged from seven upwards ,the concerts were the first time they had performed in public. Their opening night was on Monday (Feb 3) at the Music Centre, which is based at Mersey Drive School in Whitefield, and performances were also held on the following two days.
Pictured getting ready for their performance are members of the junior brass group with conductor, Lawrence Yates.
The groups which performed include strings, woodwind and brass musicians and performances were also be given by some vocal soloists. For more information about the concerts or Bury Music Centre, contact 796 9910.
