YET again, another complaint about Darwen's new £11million health centre. This time, A D Gordon is complaining he has not been consulted (Letters, January 31).

As a user of the existing health centre, I picked up a consultation leaflet in its waiting room. It had been produced by the Primary Care Trust, which asked for my views.

Mr Gordon could have done exactly the same thing, had he so chosen.

Please don't say your views haven't been asked for if you have clearly chosen to ignore the consultation exercise.

May I repeat: can we please have a wonderful state-of-the-art health centre without people moaning about it all the time?

J CONLON, Whitehall, Darwen.
