CHILDREN hoping to brush up on their ball skills attended a football in the community day at Kingsfold Primary School, Penwortham.
The youngsters, aged between seven and 12 years old, were coached by professionals from Bolton Wanderers and all received a certificate at the end of the day.
Lofty the Lion, the Trotter's club mascot, also appeared at the Martinfield Drive school to encourage pupils in their soccer techniques.
The event was set up by police from Bamber Bridge and Penwortham stations.
