Blackpool Rangers 0 Foxhall 1

Foxhall were quick out of the blocks catching Rangers napping in the first minute, after a mazy run slotting home through a crowd of players. Rangers finally got into their stride and had two or three chances to equalise in the first half.

In the second half Rangers piled on the pressure with the wind behind them, forcing the keeper to make numerous saves and play virtually as a sweeper.

Rangers could not make the pressure tell and the score finished Blackpool Rangers 0 Foxhall 1. Ben Duffield and Ryan Willetts were outstanding for Rangers.

Foxhall 3 Blackpool Rangers 0 (aggregate, 4-0)

Rangers battled hard to pull back the deficit but could not make any clear cut chances and went behind half way through the first half to a well drilled Foxhall team who passed the ball well and looked good for their lead.

A mistake led to Foxhall taking a 2 - 0 lead into half time. Rangers lost their keeper mid way into the second half, with Daniel Wiseman volunteering to go in goal, and pulling off a couple of very good saves! Foxhall ran out deserved 3 - 0 winners, 4 - 0 aggregate score. Ryan Wellings and Eric Clayton battled hard for Rangers.

Under 12s

Blackpool Rangers 3 - Thornton-Cleveleys 3

Blackpool Rangers fielded only 11 players against the under 12's league leaders, Thornton-Cleveleys, in a fast flowing end to end game. Joe Brough was the man of the match for Rangers with an outstanding performance in goals.

Thornton took an early 2-0 lead, but goals from Nick Banting and Grant Blackshaw made it all square at half time.

The second half was full of action with great chances being made by both teams. Late in the game Thornton scored again, but with Rangers pressing hard for an equaliser and numerous shots saved by both goalkeepers, it was determined by a last minute penalty. Matt Hayman scored his first goal for the club with the last kick of the game.
